Job Description National Professional Services firm is actively seeking a Controller to develop accounting policies and oversee all financial procedures on a company wide basis. You will be responsible for monitoring the company---s financial status, reviewing quarterly and annual budgets and managing accounting transactions. What You Will Do: Document, monitor and maintain accounting policies Ensure all payments are completed on time Review quarterly and annual budgets for all departments Analyze costs and profits Set and track financial KPIs Build risk assessment models to evaluate investments Report on financial status on a regular basis and create ad-hoc reports when needed Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems Perform internal audits and assist with external audits Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations Prior Experience: Experience as a Controller or Financial Manager in a Professional Service setting, i.e. Engineering, Construction or Architectural firm. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures Hands-on experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Experience with cash management and risk assessment Good knowledge of accounting software BSc or MSc in Accounting or Finance Company Description Huntsville Technical Services is a leader in the recruiting and staffing consulting world.
