*Position Description: **Title: *Junior Accountant*Department: *Finance and Accounting*Reports to: *Accounting Manager / Director of FinanceBio-Shine, an Envoy Solutions company, is a specialized distributor and solution provider serving the US market through a family of the nation's best regional distributors. By bringing together the leading distribution brands across the country, we're able to offer our local customers greater efficiencies and scale while maintaining the same, high levels of customer intimacy.*Job Summary: *Perform a variety of general accounting functions under the supervision of the Accounting Manager and/or the Director of Finance.*Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities: ** Prepare journal entries* Complete general ledger operations.* Assist in monthly closings and preparation of financial statements.* Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts.* Draw up monthly financial reports.* Prepare analysis of accounts, as needed.* Assist with yearend closings.* Administer accounts receivable and accounts payable.* Prepare tax computations and returns.* Assist in budget and forecast preparation.* Provide payroll back-up.* Monitor and resolve bank issues including fee anomalies and check differences.* Prepare account and bank reconciliations.* Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process.* Assist with implementation and maintenance of internal financial controls and procedures.* Other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager and/or the Director of Finance.*Qualifications: ** Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or equivalent preferred.* One to three years of accounting experience preferred.* Knowledge of financial principles and financial reporting preferred.* Proficient in relevant accounting software preferred.* Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word & Excel required.*Abilities: *Sitting for prolonged periods of time, standing, walking, speaking, seeing, hearing, bending, and reaching.*Additional Information: * - Full-Time: Monday - Friday - Pay will commensurate with experience - Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Long Term Disability - Paid Holidays, Vacation & Sick Time*Please be advised that no telephone calls will be accepted.**Disclaimer: *The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
