Job Description:
Oversee team responsible for day to day activities related to the
fund accounting and reporting of open-ended and closed-end core
real estate funds administered both externally and internally
Liaise on a daily basis with third party fund administrator
including, but not limited to cash, capital allocations and
reconciliations, financial statements, capital call drawdown
notices, distributions, redemptions, and investor requests
Manage all fund level operating activities including deal funding,
investor funding, all cash activities, line of credit,
reconciliations, and regulatory reporting
Manage quarterly close of BX deliverables
Review all capital calls and distributions activities and all other
fund level activities
Liaise with external auditors
Review quarterly and annual fund partnerships' GAAP financial
statements.
Responsible for consolidation of financial statements,
preparing/reviewing applicable filings, technical accounting
research, and monthly/quarterly reporting requirements
Review all updates in waterfall model for contribution and
distribution process and distribution waterfall testing
Manage LP onboarding and investor requests
Coordinate with internal and external audit to ensure SOX
compliance
Assist with all system migration and implementation
Work with technology teams to improve automation of manual
processes
Collaborate with multiple internal teams including Tax,
Acquisition, Portfolio Management, Asset Management, Legal &
Compliance, Investor Client Services, local Finance, Technology,
and Treasury
Assist senior management with execution of strategic plan
Generate creative solutions to improve processes
Assist with ad-hoc projects
Responsible for mentoring junior team members
Qualifications:
BS (or above) in Accounting or Finance and CPA is required
1 0+ years of public/private accounting experience
Experience with open-ended funds, real estate and/or private equity
industry is preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to thrive in a team-based environment.
Highly organized and proactive.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic culture.
Detail oriented and possess strong work ethic; ability to
multi-task and execute a wide range of assignments; strong time
management skills

Expected annual base salary range:
$155,000 - $200,000 Actual base salary within that range will be
determined by several components including but not limited to the
individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location.
For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted
salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation
process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms
of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the
advertised role.
