Assistant ControllerUp to 200kPrinceton,NJOur client, a leading Biopharmaceutical Company, is seeking a talented individual with a strong background in Public Accounting and industry experience to join their growing team. Responsibilities:Manage assigned accounting functions, including day-to-day transactional accounting, revenue accounting, financial audits, technical accounting, quarterly financial reporting requirements, etc.Establish and maintain accurate and ethical accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure sound financial controlsCollaborate with key stakeholders to ensure that statutory, compliance, and performance reporting requirements are metAssist in setting strategic and operational direction for the accounting department, supervising staff in Controller's absence, and aligning department goals to help support business development and achieve company objectives Qualifications:CPA with a minimum of 8 years of public accounting and industry experience in roles of increasing technical and strategic responsibilityExperience with complex accounting transactions and technical GAAP researchExcellent, hands-on knowledge of GAAP rules and regulationsPublic accounting firm experience and experience working directly with external auditors and valuation/tax consultantsExceptional analytical and critical thinking skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with a high degree of interpersonal skills transcending both functional and organizational layersProven leadership with an ability to influence without direct authorityTeam-oriented attitude, a high degree of integrity and ethical merit, and experience with accounting software If you meet the qualifications and have the required experience, please apply today!
