Job Description Job Description We are looking for an
experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a long-term
contract basis in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey. In this role, you will
play a key part in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy
in reconciliations, and supporting month-end close processes. This
position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and
contribute to maintaining strong fiscal oversight.
Responsibilities: • Prepare and manage month-end close activities,
including journal entries and account analysis. • Maintain accurate
and up-to-date general ledger records. • Perform account
reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity. • Conduct bank
reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly. • Assist in
budget preparation and financial forecasting processes. • Provide
detailed reports and analysis to support decision-making. • Ensure
compliance with accounting standards and company policies. •
Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial
processes. • Identify opportunities for improving efficiency in
accounting operations.• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. • Proficiency in
month-end close procedures and general ledger management. • Strong
knowledge of journal entries and account reconciliation. •
Experience in performing bank reconciliations with a high degree of
accuracy. • Familiarity with budgeting and financial forecasting. •
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong attention
to detail and organizational abilities. • Ability to work
collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
