Job Description Job Description Junior Risk Consultant Temp Balance Sheet Management bilingual Mandarin Location: On-site, Manhattan Step into a high-visibility role at the center of the bank’s balance sheet, where you’ll directly support core risk management, regulatory deliverables, and enhancements to key ALM/FTP systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical, detail-oriented early-career professional looking to deepen their experience in liquidity risk, interest rate risk, and balance sheet strategy within a global banking environment. What You’ll Do As a Junior Risk Consultant, you’ll partner closely with the BSM Team Leader and the Department Head to support essential U.S. and Head Office regulatory obligations. Your work will span multiple high-impact areas: Fund Transfer Pricing & Interest Rate Risk Maintain and enhance the Asset/Liability Management Model (Profitstar) and Head Office G33 reporting package Support development, testing, production, and troubleshooting of the Fund Transfer Pricing (FTP) system Assist with FTP generation, reporting, review, and methodology improvements Regulatory Reporting & Forecasting Prepare key Head Office regulatory submissions, including G33 and “3-in-1” reports Conduct ad-hoc financial and risk analyses to support management decisions Liquidity Risk Management Perform daily liquidity stress testing (LST) Calculate and monitor NSFR and LCR metrics for both Head Office and U.S. regulatory requirements What You Bring Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and comfort working with quantitative models Interest in ALM, liquidity risk, interest rate risk, or balance sheet strategy Eagerness to learn financial modeling tools and regulatory reporting frameworks Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively in a dynamic team environment Why This Role Matters You’ll gain hands-on exposure to the mechanics of bank balance sheet management and regulatory compliance—experience that is highly valued across treasury, risk, and finance functions.
