Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Mid-size very stable,
international and innovative medical device company is seeking a
hands-on Financial Controller to lead our accounting and finance
function. The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing
all aspects of the company's financial operations, including
reporting, budgeting, compliance, and day-to-day accounting
activities. This role also includes supervisory responsibilities,
such as mentoring and overseeing a small team. Key
Responsibilities: · Oversee and manage the company’s accounting
operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable,
payroll, and bank reconciliations. · Prepare timely and accurate
monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance
with GAAP. · Develop, implement, and maintain internal financial
controls and procedures. · Lead budgeting, forecasting, and
variance analysis processes. · Ensure compliance with federal,
state, and local regulatory requirements, including tax reporting
and audits. · Supervise and mentor a small accounting staff,
including training, performance management, and task delegation. ·
Manage cash flow and monitor company banking activities. · Support
the executive team with financial analysis, business planning, and
ad-hoc projects. · Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors,
and other financial professionals as needed. · Help optimize
accounting systems and participate in process improvement
initiatives. Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting,
Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA strongly preferred.
· 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a
manufacturing, pharma or medical device environment. · Minimum 1
year of supervisory or managerial experience. · Strong knowledge of
GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting. · Proficiency
with accounting software and Microsoft Excel. · Excellent
organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. · Effective
oral and written communication skills. Qualifications: · Bachelor’s
degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or
