DescriptionOfficeTeam is looking for an organized self-starter who loves working with people to fill a role as General Office Clerk. This dynamic General Office Clerk position will manage administrative support tasks like operating office equipment and completing general clerical work. This role is a long-term temporary position for a General Office Clerk based in West Trenton, New Jersey.Your responsibilities

  • Offer friendly customer service accurately and quickly
  • Supporting diverse projects for other employees as needed
  • Carry out correspondence according to prescribed style and format
  • Supporting the duties of the front desk and reception
  • Performing data entry, word processing, filing, scanning, copying and faxing
  • Meet customers in a friendly manner
  • Answer telephone calls and manage outgoing ones as wellRequirements
    • This position requires a high school diploma or its equivalent
    • Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills
    • Be able to adapt and thrive in constantly changing environments
    • Comfortable handling office equipment
    • Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
    • Knowledge of Word and Excel
    • Batching experience
    • Document Scanning experience
    • Proficiency in typing 45 - 60 words per minute
    • 1 Year of Office Clerk experience at minimum suggested
