Princeton Dermatology Associates (PDA) is a leading dermatology/ dermatologic surgery practice with several offices in the State of New Jersey. Due to our recent growth we are looking to add one (1) full time, experienced, Front Desk Supervisor to join our receptionists team. The successful candidate will be a mature and experienced medical receptionist with prior supervisory experience, personable, intelligent, a dynamic team player, with excellent customer service and phone handling skills. Must have at least five prior years of similar work experience in a practice like ours (preferably dermatology). Solid experience with a state of the art practice management and electronic medical records software system required. Knowledge of Advance MD (practice management software) and EMA (Electronic Medical Assistant; an EHR software) highly desired. Outstanding candidates with less experience or only interested in part time work, may also be considered under special circumstances. • Prepare the schedule for all receptionists in the Office.
  • Manage, help hire, and train, all receptionists reporting to the position.
    • Monitor that the office has all supplies needed, maintain adequate supplies, order and replenish whatever supplies are missing, at regular intervals.
      • Answers patient phone calls/requests in a courteous, pleasant, efficient manner.
      • Resolve patient concerns escalated to this position from direct reports.
        • Utilizes the computer to schedule appointments and to access medical record information
        • Retrieves and/or scans new patient information into the Medical Practice Management software (AdvanceMD) system.
        • Handles verification of patient insurance or payor information as needed.
        • Handles patient pre-certification/authorization with insurances as needed.
        • Utilizes the computer to generate daily patient list
          • Check voice mail for messages
          • Print a copy of the next day's schedule before leaving
            • Review any patients that missed their appointments. Make a note in the patients chart and call them to reschedule, and then leave for the doctor to sign off on the chart
            • Perform duties as assignedJob Requirements:
              • Completion of high school or equivalent (Associates degree or Bachelor's degree preferred)
              • Computer literacy in state of the art practice management and EHR medical software programs (AdvancedMD and EMA highly desired).
              • Ability to provide coverage for other offices as needed is a MUST!
              • Experience in basic cash collection techniquesJob Relationships:
                • Reports directly to the company's Manager of Front Desk Operations.
                  • Employment is subject to a 90 day probationary period
                  • Two (2) weeks required for resignation.
                  • Prior experience in a Medical Dermatology office setting preferred.Job Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:
