Assistant Job Description We are seeking a diligent and proactive
Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will
play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations by monitoring the
entrance, checking in guests, and performing data entry and
administrative duties for various departments. This position will
also support inventory auditing and coordinate employee
appreciation events, including ordering supplies and catering.
Responsibilities Monitor the entrance and check in guests. Perform
data entry and manufacturing administrative duties as needed for
inventory and other departments. Assist with inventory auditing.
Organize employee appreciation events, including ordering supplies
and catering. Essential Skills Experience in administrative
support. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong data entry skills.
Ability to audit inventory. Proven capability to anticipate needs
and a willingness to help and learn. Problem-solving mindset.
Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing
environment is preferred. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced
environment. Possession of 'tough skin' due to the nature of the
work environment. Work Environment The position is based in an
office environment near a paint production plant. The work schedule
is Monday through Friday, from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. This is an
open-ended contract role, subject to organizational changes that
may affect its duration. The environment is fast-paced, demanding a
proactive and resilient approach. Job Type & Location This is a
Contract to Hire position based out of Salem, OR. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility
requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to
change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program
