Global Strategic Marketing Director - Sugar Reduction & Specialty Sweeteners Chicago Ingredion is hiring a Global Strategic Marketing Director responsible for driving growth and development for our Sugar Reduction & Specialty Sweeteners Growth Platform. The Director will develop innovation opportunities, develop the business cases and oversee market & customer projects through the global Stage-Gate process. They will ensure strategy and process development to launch new global products and track their progress, as well as develop sales and go-to-market tools. They will also be very close to M&A and design for our future organization. They will work in collaboration with the regional growth platform teams and will oversee the Sugar Reduction Marketing team & our global agency to develop and implement the global marketing communications programs in support of their business area, and with alignment with the regional marketing teams.Core responsibilities:

• Drives new global programs of the Growth Platform and related Innovation Promise projects
• Under the leadership of the Global Platform Lead, develops and executes the Growth Platform growth plans
• Monitors competitor landscape closely and uses insight to inform global strategy and action plans
• Conducts regular competitive research on other related products and companies, with objective to drive growth and captivate our white space
• Provides input and supports the global Sugar Reduction strategy
• Oversees the development of growth plans in the regions
• Manage the global marketing communications team for sugar reduction and implement and curate a compelling and effective sugar reduction Marketing Communications plan
• Sets the global marketing communications and digital strategy and ensures all relevant marketing collateral is up to date, and maintain digital content
• Leverage the market research programs in the regions for the benefit of the global platform
• Coordinate and delivers the Innovation Promise targets for the global Growth Platform
• Provides market and business guidelines to support the global technical and innovation programs for the Growth Platform
• Identifies new innovation project ideas in support of the Growth Platform; develop the business cases and project documentation and act as the Project Business Owner
• Develop and deliver launch plans for global new products; track progress in the regions and in the marketplace
• Engage with the regional marketing teams to ensure good alignment with the other launch programsThe Strategic Marketing Director position is well-suited for you if you:

    • B2B Marketing and Business Development experience with a minimum of 5 years previous experience in the food and beverage industry
    • MBA preferred or Master's degree in Engineering or Food Science degree.
