Associate Trade Marketing Manager
The Associate Trade Marketing Manager reports to the Sr. Manager of
Trade Marketing and is a key contributor to sales planning and
trade-marketing activities across all brands in our portfolio.
-This is a strategic and tactical position that plays an integral
role on the Trade Marketing team. This is a role for someone who is
analytical, action-oriented, and is able to work well with
World Finer Foods is a leading specialty food company in the US
with market leadership in several categories. Founded in 1948,
today the company is privately held, and headquartered in New
Jersey with approximately 100 employees. As a founding member of
the Specialty Food Association, WFF has been at the forefront of
food and beverage trends over the last 70 years and built up
several brands from around the world.
Trade Marketing at World Finer Foods:
The Trade Marketing team is responsible for the management of the
promotional budget of our brand portfolio. -Working collaboratively
with the sales and marketing teams, we help develop the annual
sales plans and promotional guidelines. -Our goal is to increase
awareness of our brands by driving trial, distribution, and sales.
-The team also leverages category and consumer insights to develop
compelling fact-based selling stories.
Position Responsibilities and Capabilities:
Trade Marketing Activation
Assist with annual plan development and calendar of promotional
activities by Brand and Category
o - -Analyze competitive promotional pricing and pricing activity
in line with programming requirements and to ensure they are within
Brand pricing guardrails.
o - -Highlight Financial and non-financial success metrics based on
previous performance, along with suggested program
o - -Track, analyze and report on promotional activities performed,
level of spending by promo by customer by channel, evaluating key
program results, leveraging cross-functional teams as needed.
- - - - - - - -Advancing Category Initiatives through Analytics
o - -Proactively uncover opportunities through tracking robust
analytics of the category, consumer, shopper, market, and customer
o - -Develop fact-based recommendations, selling tools and
o - -Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within a
fast-paced environment, with a high degree of independence and
o - -Knowledge of the grocery landscape will help you deliver
category management insights that drive results.

o - -Ownership of performance reporting and scorecarding

- - - - - - - -Bachelor's Degree in Business
- - - - - - - -2 - 3 years of experience (prior experience in trade
marketing or category management preferred)
