We're a marketing software company that serves small business owners, primarily financial advisors, and insurance agents. About 40,000 small businesses use our tools to build websites and send out our content. Generally, these businesses don't have marketing departments but are growth-minded enough to know they need to market themselves.

The FMG Suite Elevate Marketing Assistant (EMA) is a creative and resourceful individual who is a supportive role to an Elevate Marketing Strategist (EMS). As an EMA, you will help the EMS maintain member accounts by carrying out tasks and strategy execution delegated to you by the EMS. This work will include: following up with members on a routine basis via phone and email as delegated by the EMS, updating client records within our management systems, keeping meticulous notes from calls and other member interactions, carrying out print/design projects, carrying out website edit requests, executing on marketing strategies led by the EMS, and other items as directed by the EMS. To be successful you will need an intimate knowledge of the FMG Suite products and services. You will assist the EMS in guiding members in developing and executing their marketing strategies utilizing these products and services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Industry and Product Knowledge

Provide knowledge of Elevate, FMG Suite, and Platinum products/services

Provide basic understanding of compliance relationships through FMG Suite

Provide knowledge of basic web/print design resources

Provide basic knowledge of all departments' processes and procedures

Account Management

Assist the EMS in account management while providing the highest level of ongoing support.

Respond to EMS requests and assist in member inquiries and requests for assistance by video conference, telephone, and/or email.

Assist in keeping records of customer interactions, details of inquiries, comments and complaints.

Assist in responding to members' concerns promptly and provide solutions.

Proactively manage personal workload and readily communicate the need for additional support to management.


Assist the EMS in providing comprehensive and expert advice in marketing or other specialized fields FMG Suite serves.

Assist the EMS in managing the onboarding of new members, obtain their buy-in, and set clear goals and strategies with deadlines to create fully engaged members of the program.

Assist the EMS in providing specific advice to members to help them identify and resolve challenges, create strategies, and continuously move their marketing forward.

Have an understanding of and assist the EMS in guiding the member in the use of all FMG Suite technology as well as ancillary technology that enhances the platform (i.e. SEO, PPC, Social Media, Google Analytics, etc.)

Understand client goals and provide suggestions that will help achieve those goals based on account history and current needs.

Project Management Manage all delegated communications, tasks, and projects between the EMS and the member such as: Communications between members and FMG Suite's print/design department for revisions, proofs, print ready files, and send to print tasks, ensuring accuracy.

Member branding project timelines as delegated.

Member copywriting project timelines as delegated.

Print proofs. Confirm once the order goes to our print partner that the proof is correct, the order was placed correctly, and that it meets time deadlines for special projects and follows all proofing guidelines and be accountable for any lapses to avoid print errors.

Review of print samples to ensure quality.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Working hours established by the Manager.

Required Education And Experience

At least 2 years of experience in a sales and/or marketing field and/or Customer Service.

Preferred Education And Experience

BA/BS in Marketing, Business or other related field or equivalent work experience in a related field.

Experience with SEO, PPC, Social Media, Google Analytics, and Web-design.
