    Work you will do: We are seeking a Marketing Project Manager to contribute to our op Pharmaceutical client, working cross-functionally with all commercial departments including: Brand Teams, Sales, Business Analytics/ Market Research, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Sales Training, Finance, Regulatory, Legal, Promotional Compliance, and others. This position also requires coordination with Otsuka's alliance partners.

    The Marketing Project Manager will become an extension of the client team working on providing operational support to commercial brand teams. This position will provide direct support for planning and executing priority commercial initiatives including new asset or indication launches, brand planning as well as day to day brand operations. Primary responsibilities will include project management and the development of presentation materials/ deliverables (e.g., Strategic and Tactical Planning, Brand Deep Dives), along with meeting facilitation and cross-functional management. The right candidate for this position will not only have strong project management skills, but also the ability to think strategically, adding value to launch teams and brand teams beyond basic operations. Examples include problem solving, anticipating challenges, relationship building, process improvement, and structuring presentations.


    What you will do:
    In this role, you will work closely with the US Project Management Lead in Otsuka's Marketing Operations Organization. Marketing Operations provides operational support and project management for brand teams and Commercial Operations Functional Teams.

    Additionally, you will have the following job responsibilities:

    Commercial Project Management
    Product Launch:
    Partner with Brand Leadership, Manage Major Commercial Workstreams
    Own Overall Launch Readiness, drive launch to major milestones
    Lead launch reporting and decision-making processes
    Coordinate with Global Marketing team and Alliance Partners
    Governance/ Major Meeting Materials:
    Partner with Brand Leadership to prepare presentations internally and with cross-functional and alliance partners
    Gather/ synthesize relevant content
    Provide input into contents and story
    Present as appropriate
    Brand Planning:
    Partner and align with Brand Leadership to create framework and plan
    Synthesize ideas and input into strategies and tactics
    Drive process to gain alignment, meet milestones and deadlines
    Provide support for building, refining, and gaining approval for the brand budget
    Lead Cross Functional Commercial Projects
    Product Launch:
    Launch Leadership across commercial functions- Ownership of overall Launch Plan, drive to larger goals
    Leverage Project Management Tools and Processes
    Cross-Functional Projects:
    Lead Key Operational Workstreams Across Functions (e.g. Strategic Planning, Tactical Planning, Brand Budgeting, Governance Presentation Creation)
    Coordination/ Alignment with Alliance Counterparts
    Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, Education, and Experience
    Required:
    BA/BS degree
    Expertise in independently managing large projects with multiple workstreams
    Experience successfully managing all or major portions of a pharmaceutical launch
    Experience partnering directly with brand teams and brand leadership
    Results-driven with a high sense of urgency and accountability: ability to meet business objectives, deliverables, and timely completion of initiatives with a cross-functional team
    High standards for accuracy in written and verbal communication
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    Strong planning, organizational, and prioritization skills- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks to achieve established deadlines
    Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry and major functional areas
    Strong managerial, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
    Ability to function effectively under conditions of uncertainty and ambiguity, and ability to navigate competing demands
    Ability to effectively utilize project management tools and software
    Strong PowerPoint and deck creation skills
    5+ years of pharmaceutical industry (Commercial) and/or marketing operations experience
    Strong capability as an adaptive learner
    Preferred:
    Strategic planning experience within sales and marketing
    Experience creating senior leadership presentations
    Knowledge of working across strategic alliances
    Strong Excel, Microsoft Project skills
    Advanced degree in relevant field
    Consulting experience a plus
