chance to be apart of the innovation!Job DescriptionThe Medical
Writing (MW) team is a subset of the Global Regulatory Affairs
(GRA) department. The MW team prepares clinical documents (eg,
trial protocols, clinical study reports, patient narratives,
investigator brochures), regulatory documents (eg, IND/NDA summary
documents, briefing books, Health Authority response documents),
and also leads the Model Document Working Group (MDWG), which is a
cross-functional team who manages the development and upkeep of
document templates for the global Otsuka R&D organization.We
are looking for a motivated self-starter to work with our MDWG on
the process for reviewing and updating document templates in our
electronic document management system (CREDO). The candidate will
also have the opportunity to learn the processes around
cross-functional development of scientific documents.The specific
project will consist of 2 parts: 1) review of the existing
templates in CREDO to eliminate obsolete or duplicate templates and
applying consistent naming conventions to the remaining templates.
2) assignment of template "ownership" to functional areas and
development of a process/system for documenting future requested
template updates.Qualifications/ RequiredKnowledge/ Experience and
Skills:---Ability to interpret and organize scientific and clinical
documents---Ability to work with cross-functional teams in highly
matrixed team environment and collaborate with a wide variety of
internal customers---Ability to identify process improvements and
contribute to their implementation---Ability to proactively
escalate issues and provide solutions to problems.---Excellent
computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point,
Outlook, Teams)---Excellent written and verbal skills with keen
attention to detail.---Independent worker who embraces change and
has a flexible and innovative mindsetEducational
QualificationsMinimum:---Undergraduate Student---Interest in Health
Science or Scientific Writing preferred---Preferred GPA
3.0+---Demonstrate ability to work in a team
environment---Demonstrate ability to think creatively to solve
complex problems---Exhibits eagerness to learn and ability to learn
