We help each person we serve to discover their unique talents, develop self-worth, and maximize opportunities for independence.--Academy360 Physical Education and Health Teachers:Continuously review and revise the curriculum to ensure alignment with the NJ Student Learning Standards, and addresses grade-level standards in physical fitnessDevelop lesson plans and instructional materials that provide individualized and group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each student.Instruct students on the basic techniques needed to play team sports and other recreational activitiesDiscuss the importance of living a healthy lifestyle that includes regular physical activityMonitor and document student participation and progressQualifications:New Jersey Certified Teacher of Health and Physical Education required.Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods in sports skills and appropriate developmental instructional and group management procedures.Strong team-building skills, and interpersonal and communication skills.NOTE: --This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. --The employee may perform other related duties as needed and assigned by the supervisor to meet the ongoing needs of Spectrum360, and certain qualification requirements may be waived with the final approval of the Executive Director/CEO.----Compensation details: 57400-100000 Yearly SalaryPI1cd4864b4e5e-25660-37516008
