Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An exciting
opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist
(SLP) to support students in a school setting in Pottstown, PA.
This full-time contract position runs from early March through the
end of the school year, with consistent hours Monday through
Friday, 7:45 am to 3:00 pm. The role focuses on delivering
comprehensive speech and language services to students, fostering
their communication development in a collaborative educational
environment. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough assessments
and evaluations, including speech, language, voice, and fluency
screenings. - Interpret testing results and prepare detailed
evaluation reports to determine eligibility for services. - Deliver
individual and group therapy targeting articulation, language,
social communication, augmentative and alternative communication
(AAC), fluency, and other communication needs. - Develop, write,
and update Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and present
levels; participate actively in IEP and eligibility meetings. -
Collect data and track student progress, maintaining compliance
with Medicaid billing and special education documentation when
applicable. - Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
including teachers, occupational therapists, physical therapists,
psychologists, and administrative staff. - Provide classroom
strategies, accommodations, and consultation to support
communication development. - Assist with Response to Intervention
(RTI) and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), including staff
training and behavior plan support related to communication. -
Ensure adherence to state and federal special education
regulations, manage caseload scheduling, and maintain up-to-date
therapy materials and testing protocols. Qualifications/Experience:
- Valid state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language
Pathologist. - Experience in school-based speech-language therapy,
including assessment and IEP development. - Strong ability to
collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate with
parents or guardians. - Knowledge of special education laws,
Medicaid billing procedures, and compliance requirements. This
