Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract
opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists to
support school-based services in the Elizabeth, NJ area for the
Fall 2026 semester. This assignment begins in September and
continues for approximately 12 weeks, requiring 35 hours per week
of onsite work. This is an excellent role for professionals with a
passion for pediatric speech-language therapy in educational
settings. There are three full-time positions supporting students
from preschool through 5th grade, with a focus on schools that
serve a high population of students with Autism. The roles are
primarily elementary level, and one position is currently to be
determined. Applicants with a Certificate of Clinical Competence
(CCC) are preferred; however, clinical fellows (CFs) who can secure
outside supervision are also considered. Please note, applications
from Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) will not be
accepted. Key Qualifications and Experience: - Valid NJ
Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license - Valid NJ School Learning
Specialist (SLS) certification - Experience working in schools,
ideally with children who have Autism spectrum disorders - CCC
credential preferred; CFs accepted with external supervision
arrangements - Availability for full-time onsite work throughout
the contract period Primary Responsibilities: - Deliver
speech-language therapy services to students K-5th grade, including
preschool populations - Develop and implement individualized
treatment plans tailored to student needs - Collaborate with
educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student
progress - Maintain accurate documentation of services according to
district and state guidelines Work Locations Include: - Elementary
School in Sewaren, NJ with high Autism and preschool populations -
Elementary School in Iselin, NJ focusing on Autism and preschool
students - One additional school site TBD within the district This
