Job Description:

This position will focus on supporting the Geotechnical team, working on projects that focus on structural environmental work such as pilings, slopes, bridges, etc. that also have possible remedial needs to solve. For example, dredging or sediment remediation requirements involved along with the geotechnical needs. Projects might include marine, manufactured gas plants, and other multidisciplinary work. B.S. in Civil Engineering or closely aligned field Understanding of remediation issues and solutions 3-5 years of professional experience Position requires working familiarity with the AutoCAD and GIS software Civil Engineer experienced in site design, erosion and sediment control Stormwater management Work on multidisciplinary projects including structural, geotechnical and/or marine engineering with Working knowledge of database programs, GIS, and CAD Proficiency with AutoCad Civil 3D is a must Main Duties: Civil site design, SWPPP preparation, and support of field investigation activities including condition Surveys, field measurement and data collection, use of global positioning systems Soil sampling IDW management Report preparation Preparing engineering graphics Performing and checking engineering calculations Computer Aided Design of civil projects and structures
