Principal Digital Design Engineer (Remote and on site positions available)

The role of Principal Digital Design Engineer:Will join a class leading systems design team within automotive product development. You will become part of a highly skilled group of engineers to develop specific high spec Semiconductors that will power tomorrow's HEV / BEV vehicles.

• You will design complex chips that includes various analog and digital control circuitry and work very closely with all aspects of chipset design through to serial production
• Play a significant role in the contribution to the digital design team and work closely with analog design team for design integration, as well as applications and test engineering team for validating and testing your on-chip solutions
• Work on new greenfield designs, develop new standards and shape the company's pathway for success
  Responsibilities will also include
  • Designing digital RTL that meet timing, area, power and any adhering standards specifications
  • Integrating design at the top level and Running block & top-level simulations
  • FPGA prototyping of digital circuits for algorithmic validation and proof of concept
  • You will be working with analog and digital verification engineers to come up with complex test scenarios for pre-silicon verification
  • Holding and participating in key design reviews and completion of various checklistsWhat we need for the Principal Digital Design Engineer:We are seeking several levels of engineers to compliment several openings. For the principal Engineer we need the following:
    Experienced Professionals:
    • Educated with a Bachelors in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or Masters (Preferred)
    • 5+ Years' experience in digital design
    • Have a solid understanding of synthesizable design, timing constraints and how design implementation looks like on silicon
    • Must have experience with industry-standard Synopsys, Cadence, Mentor and other tools used in flows
    • Experience with FPGA prototyping, synthesis, debugging and validating algorithms
