position has primary responsibility, as Group Utilities Energy and
Compliance Manager of North America NHSc manufacturing & Warehouse
distribution centers as well lead the charge to support NHSc global
footprint of manufacturing and distribution sites
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing technical expertise thus ensuring smooth production and
supply of all sites following Nestle Engineering & Maintenance
Foundation guidance and tools, by being safe and maintaining high
efficient usage of the utility installations
* Establish, facilitate, and maintain the NCE / TPM systems for the
Utilities group to sustainably achieve compliance of local & global
regulations, and audit readiness all times.
* Provides leadership, development, and support team members under
the guidance of the Nestle Management and Leadership
Principles.
* As an Expert on Utilities and Energy lead for the Division,
provided technical assistance, guidance and support as requested by
the sites as well providing & sharing best practices on maintenance
and management systems for generation systems management of
(Chilled, Tower Water, Steam Generation, City and Industrial Water,
Air Compressors and any other utilities systems needed by the
business)
* Ensuring all time availability of all utilities through Nestle
Maintenance Foundations, Standards, guidelines, to be audit
ready
* Communicate & manage entire internal & external customer base,
maintain, and troubleshoot system, and personnel problems. Keep
utilities of plant in compliance with all legal and Nestle
regulations.
* Provide expertise in utilities generation and maintenance of
system, technical support for daily, 24*7 plant operations and
capital projects. This includes managing projects, training
appropriate individuals, and preparing documentation as
required.
* Establish a KPI based utilities & energy tracking system to
continuously drive excellence in line with NCE requirements
* Lead, drive sustainability & energy conservation initiatives -
reduction in Co2e, GHG etc.,
liaison with Nestle Corporate for guidance & standards
* Travel to sites as needed to deliver the above & projects or as
requested per business needs
* Follow factory safety & environmental objectives & targets
* Follow the plant safety rules; report incidents & unsafe
conditions immediately
* Maintain compliance with regulations, and refer to the Safety &
Environmental Management System(s) on all related procedures and
programs.
* Understand the environmental aspects of the position and take
action to reduce these environmental impacts by conserving paper,
electricity, water etc. Will also recycle all appropriate materials
(paper, plastic, food, etc.)
* Follow factory food safety, quality objectives & targets
* Follow Nestle Good Manufacturing Practices, report food safety
and quality issues immediately.
* Maintain compliance with regulations and refer to Nestle Quality
Management System on all related procedures and programs.
* Understand the food safety and quality aspects of the position as
indicated on QMS, OJT's and SOP's that apply.Experience and
Education Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
* 5+ years in a manufacturing Aseptic / Food environment, with
specific experience in utilities and facilities
