globe at over 70 TRUMPF locations. Semiconductor QA Engineer will
improve shop floor quality for the Semiconductor organization by
quantifying scrap loss and developing corrective actions and
systems for improvement. Semiconductor QA Engineer Roles and
Responsibilities:
- Optimize Quality Management System processes.
- Manage quality improvement projects, applying the principles of
the Six Sigma philosophy.
- Coordinate troubleshooting of specific quality problems,
together with production and development engineers, including
application of problem-solving tools like cause-and-effect
diagrams, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), etc.
- Drive the communication with internal and external suppliers
for quality-related issues.
- Generate Corrective Action Requests and evaluate and monitor
Corrective Action Plans.
- Actively monitor the performance of internal and external
processes by utilizing ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system
and statistical analysis software tools.
- Provide feedback to responsible departments to achieve
continuous quality improvement.
- Provide technical guidance to local QC (Quality Control)
reps.
- Coordinate vendor qualification and first article inspection
processes. Define first article and incoming inspection
requirements.
- Conduct external audits of key suppliers. Conduct internal
quality system audits in accordance with the TRUMPF Quality System
and ISO 9001 Quality Standard. Conduct training of employees on
TRUMPF Quality Standard, technical guidelines/techniques, QA
(Quality Assurance) Procedures Conduct Measurement System Analyses
on test equipment in production.
- Coordinate the calibration of measurement and test equipment,
company-wide in cooperation with responsible departments.
- Maintain the TRUMPF Document Manager, and local process maps
using Business Process Management software.Semiconductor QA
Engineer Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in industrial, manufacturing, electrical,
electronics, mechanical, engineering or related field
- Quality assurance or quality systems management in
manufacturing environment
- Statistical analyses like DOE, MSA, etc using software such as
Minitab or JMP
- Lean production (process improvement)
- Review of drawings, schematics, parts lists in both metric and
English systems.
- Knowledge of ERP software
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Management functionsTRUMPF is an
