Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

* You will be a key member of the Maintenance department.

* In this position as a Production Maintenance Mechanic, you will, help keep the department running efficiently, maintain mechanical components of process equipment, install mechanical components of process equipment, and consult on mechanical components to capital projects.

* Daily repair of all chemical plant process equipment, including, but not limited to; process piping, air piping, nitrogen piping, process pumps, mechanical process monitoring components, air extraction systems, automated compounding machines, and sanitation equipment.

* Dependent on skills, either electrical or mechanical repairs of all plant process equipment and buildings as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor. This would include but not limited to solenoid valves, valve limit switches, electric or pneumatic actuated valves.

* Troubleshooting of equipment, as needed, to maintain and keep equipment in operation including rotating machinery pneumatic or electrical driven pumps and mixers.

* Assist other maintenance personnel as needed.

* Repair and rebuild of process equipment. This would include but not limited to Pneumatic diaphragm pumps, rotary pumps, gear pumps and centrifugal pumps. Manual valves (Butterfly & Ball), Pneumatic mixers. Vessel repair and wheel replacement.

* Installation of new capital equipment as necessary.

* Help to oversee and work with outside contractors.

* Additionally, skills a plus such as: Welding, repairs/fabrication. Industrial piping metal and plastic.

* Manufacturing environment with technical experience as a Mechanic. Machinist, electrical, pipe fitter or welding experience would be a plus.

* Requirements:

* High School Diploma or GED required

* Requires two years technical school training in a related field or equivalent work experience.

* Minimum of 3-5 years maintenance experience, preferably in a chemical or food/beverage
