HVAC-R / Refrigeration Technician Mansfield, MA 02048 Full-Time | Shift: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM $32–$34/hour We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our team in Mansfield, MA. The role involves fabrication, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of single-stage, cascade, and multi-stage refrigeration systems used in environmental test equipment. Requirements: • EPA Certification (required) • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, piping diagrams, and technical manuals • Experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing refrigeration systems • Strong mechanical skills to fabricate, assemble, and test systems • Proficient with leak detection tools and system charging procedures • Skilled in documenting pressure and temperature readings during tests • Ability to assist engineers in testing and evaluation procedures Responsibilities: • Charge, test, diagnose, and repair capital refrigeration equipment • Fabricate, assemble, and service cascade and multi-stage refrigeration systems • Perform leak tests, evacuate systems, and charge with refrigerants per spec • Repair refrigeration systems at all levels of assembly • Record system pressure and temperature data during test runs • Support engineering in system evaluations and test planning https://gpsnational.com/
