Job Description Job Description Immediately interviewing and hiring Maintenance Mechanics for growing, stable manufacturer offering competitive pay and benefits. Direct hire. Will train on first shift for up to 3 months, then move to 3rd shift (12 hour, rotating schedule: 3 on 4 off, 4 on 3 off). Job Description: As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will perform preventive and proactive maintenance to prevent breakdowns on equipment involving electronics, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, or mechanical components. Your role will include troubleshooting PLCs, repairing and maintaining industrial production or processing machinery and equipment such as cappers, labelers, filling machines, palletizers, conveyors, and packers. You will also utilize the CMMS to manage work orders and spare parts. Responsibilities Perform preventive and proactive maintenance on industrial equipment. Troubleshoot and repair PLCs and other electronic/electrical components. Maintain and repair conveyors and other machinery. Inspect, assemble, disassemble, and replace machinery parts as necessary. Utilize CMMS for work orders and spare parts management. Skills & Qualifications: Experience in the industrial food and/or beverage manufacturing industry is ideal. Experience in maintenance work on conveyors. Strong electrical/electronic troubleshooting and repair skills. Experience in PLC troubleshooting. Welding skills are a plus. Experience with SAP is advantageous. Familiarity with CMMS is beneficial. Why Work Here? The plant can be hot, especially in the summer, and the work can be physically demanding, involving getting dirty while working on machinery. The plant operates with a total of 145 employees. Shifts are continental on 3rd shift from 6 PM to 6:30 AM with a pattern of 4 days on, 3 days off, 3 days on, and 4 days off. Training will occur on 1st shift for 2-3 months. Being a union environment, there may be call-out coverage requiring additional attendance. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Glen Mills, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $66248.00 - $67288.00/yr.
