the place for you. The Work We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to
join the Mechanical Cabinet Design group in the Sensor Mechanical
Design Center. In this role, the selected candidate will work as
part of an engineering team to responsible for the design,
analysis, verification, and production support of mechanical
structures, enclosures, and electronic modules for multiple
programs across the RMS Line of Business. This candidate will
interface with Systems, Electrical Engineers, Drafting and
Operations personnel in the development of detailed designs and
assembly strategies. The selected candidate will work closely with
cross-functional teams in the design, development, integration, and
testing and requirements verification of these technologies,
including the support of technical data packages, design reviews,
supplier engagement, and lab & test facility activities. Position

rmshotmiljobs Basic Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or higher in
Mechanical Engineering - Minimum 1-2 years of professional
engineering experience - Proficiency with 3D CAD modeling, Creo
Parametric (preferred). - Proven ability to work effectively with
adjacent disciplines (electrical, software, manufacturing, etc.) -
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD SECRET clearance (U.S.
citizenship required). - Excellent verbal and written communication
skills. Desired skills - Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experienced in conducting root cause corrective actions (RCCA) on
complex production issues - Familiarity with RF, digital and power
distribution layouts and packaging - Experience with structural and
thermal analysis using ANSYS (including IcePak or other compatible
FEA tools). - Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing
and Design?for?Manufacturing principles - Configuration Management:
Experience with BOM and configuration control, preferably using
EPDM, Windchill or a comparable PLM system. Lockheed Martin is an

Ability to work remotely Part-time Remote Telework: The employee
selected for this position will work part of their work schedule
remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed
Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed
during the hiring process. Work Schedule Information Lockheed
Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide
additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from
standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be
condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with
additional time away from the office and are in addition to our
Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance Information This
position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US
Citizen for consideration. National Pay Statement The base range
for this position in New Jersey is $75,000 - $135,961. Benefits
