To accomplish this, we need the right people.We are looking for a Vice President of Credit who is an outstanding leader and manager. The Vice President of Credit will lead the Credit Department, oversee underwriting and escalations, and ensure compliance. The Vice President of Credit must be able to lead a growing team, communicate effectively and maintain consistency across all desks.Princeton Mortgage grew production from $200M in 2018, to $600M and $1,100M in 2019 and 2020, respectively. We plan to grow even more in 2021 and reach 50,000 loans per year by 2028.We are looking for someone who:-- Has a growth mindset-- Embraces challenges and difficulty-- Thinks independentlyResponsibilities1) Guide the Underwriting Manager and Underwriting Team Leaders to foster an environment where each team member is comfortably working consistent pipelines2) Lead the Underwriting team to achieve an internal NPS Score at or above 903) Maintain consistent turn times and decrease post-closing errors4) Build and lead the industry's best Escalations/Scenarios, Specialty Loan and QC desks3) Oversee and manage the operations compliance team4) Support recruiting operations across departmentQualifications-- Minimum 7 years mortgage underwriting/risk/credit experience with active front line underwriting-- Knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA and USDA loans-- Strong knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA and USDA secondary marketing guidelines-- Direct Endorsement with current CHUM number, VA LAPP Certification-- Intimate knowledge of compliance standards and guidelinesAbout Princeton-- 4.8 Rating on Glassdoor-- 4.9 Rating on Google-- Great Workplaces Certified-- National Mortgage Professional Top Mortgage Employer-- HousingWire Rising Star Award-- Philadelphia Most Admired CEO Award-- National Mortgage Professional 40 under 40 Award-- Featured on Lykken on Lending-- Featured on the HousingWire Housing News Podcast
