" The IT G lobal H ead of Digital Solutions will play a critical role in the development and execution of Genmab's Digital ambition . Our Digital strategy will include solution sets that accelerate early science, speed development of our medicines, or create exceptional e xperiences wi th our Patients and the Providers who care for them. Joining Genmab IT at this critical time affords a hands-on leader the unique opportunity to lead the build out of a new set of digital capabilities and practices from the ground up and grow a team of talented digi tally minded technologists, in line with organizational growth aspirations .-- The role will partner across key business lines of R&D, Medical, Commercial an d Enabling Functions, to identify areas of opportunity, define strategies and plans, and execute to deliver value. The leader will join the IT Leadership Team and report directly to the S VP and Global Head of Information Technology. Primary Responsibilities The key responsibilities for this role will be, but not limited to: D evelopment of D igital strategies , in par tner ship with s enior business leaders and peers across the IT Leadership Team to address key opportunities within our business and with our customers. Act as a subject matter expert for breakthrough Digital technologies and their application within R&D , Medical, Commercial , and /or Functional Groups Be an educator to IT and the business on the "Art of the possible" with Digital, to expand the organization s thinking o n how Digital can bring value to the business and our customers. Align Digital opportunities with b usiness s trategies and E n terprise IT s trategy, platforms, and services. Ensure solutions are market ready and can be applied to solve current opportunities. Maintain a deep understanding of the Digital marketplace , inside and outside life science, with an eye toward potential new opportunities which should be documented in a future state roadmap. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with leaders across our global Genmab functions. Primary Contacts Reports to the SVP, Global Head of IT Business unit executives , and functional team leaders in Research, Development and Commercial Peers at the ITLT and other IT staff Partners and contract staff Sourcing-- Job Requirements Education Minimum of a master's degree in computer science, information systems, informatics, engineering or related technical field or equivalent work experience. Experience Minimum of 8 (Director) - 10 (Sr. Director) years of experience as an IT leader in a corporate environment or similar IT consulting experience Five or more years of leadership responsibilities, including strategy & execution Minimum of 3 years of experience leading /focusing on Digital Solutions, with specific experience in areas such as: Devices, AI/ML, Cloud, Automation, etc. Minimum of 5 years of Pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience is required ; Research & Development experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience of influencing key stakeholders across the organization and within complex contexts Proven experience or demonstrated capability in leading Digital transformational initiatives enabling customer centric Digital solutions for Patients, Providers or Payors. Experience working with global teams of both colleagues and contractors Knowledge/Skills Effective influencing and negotiation skills in an environment where resources required for success may not be in direct control of this role Excellent analytical, strategic , conceptual thinking, planning, and execution skills Strong business acumen , including industry, domain-specific knowledge of the enterprise and its business units with a focus on Research and Development Ability to build consensus, making decisions based on many variables, and gain support for major initiatives Strong sense of self, ethics, and effort, as well as the willingness to go the extra mile to achieve important goals D e ep understanding of current and emerging Digital technologies-- Well established connections with Digital thought leaders, early Digital players, Biotech peers and how they are leveraging Digital , etc.-- Knowledgeable in how to apply Digital technologies in a regulat ed environment, e.g., software as a medical device-- Experienced in leading adoption of modern technologies to ensure solutions achieve full value.-- Strong third-party management skills, working closely with sourcing and vendor managers. Excellent verbal , written , and presentation skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts and technologies to business leaders, and business /science - based concepts to the I T workforce Stro ng knowledge of Office tools, mobile, apps, and other IT capabilities which would be expected knowledge for a senior IT role. Exceptional soft and interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation , and negotiation.
