We offer Primary Care, Walk-In Urgent Care, some Specialty Care - including Cardiovascular, Radiology & Imaging, Medical Laboratory, and more. General Summary / Overview Statement:
The Laboratory Manager oversees all company medical laboratories operations (both on and off-site), including the supervision of laboratory staff, the development and enforcement of policies and procedures in accordance with policies and regulatory requirement, the laboratory information system and more. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Exercise independent & entrepreneurial skills to manage laboratory
Manage all operational, administrative and clinical aspects of laboratory
Manage all staff related matters of laboratory
Perform annual performance reviews of staff
Recommend laboratory improvements and efficiencies
Implement new laboratory initiatives
Ensure documentation and full laboratory compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements
Responsible for coordination of operational and capital budgets
Recommends and implements budget savings initiatives for supply changes and equipment leasing
Responsible for contract initiation, management, and renewal including cost-saving measures in collaboration with organizational requirements
Provides guidance and support to Senior Leadership regarding testing and external laboratory relations
Knowledgeable of current COVID-19 testing methodologies and makes recommendations regarding in-house capabilities and potential opportunities
Other duties as assigned. Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree within Chemical, Physical or Biological Sciences or similar
Laboratory supervisory requirements of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Rules and Regulations for Licensure of Clinical Laboratories
Three (3) years of pertinent clinical laboratory experience as a medical technologist/clinical laboratory scientist with two (4+)years of supervisory experience.
Certification as a MT (ASCP) or equivalent, required.
Awareness of JCAHO accreditation requirements, CAP, DPH and CMR regulations as well as other pertinent government regulations
