Summary

We're looking for a talented and experienced Business Operation leader that is passionate about accelerating our business intelligence team with the tools, data, skills and processes they need to do their best work.

Reporting to the Vice President, Business Operations & Analytics, and working closely with the broader PRISM CORE team and an array of stakeholders from across the business, you will have a key leadership role when it comes to business process innovation, systems design, and enablement for the Precision Reporting & Insights System (PRISM) initiative.

The Senior Program Manager, Business Operations & Analytics is responsible for executing and monitoring the analytical strategy set forth by the PRISM Program Architect. This position consults on analytical solutions to understand, analyze, and synthesize requirements, goals and objectives relative to data and business intelligence needs to enable high-quality, fact-based business decisions to drive better business outcomes. Acts as a key accelerator to growth by helping teams operate smarter, faster and more effectively.

Essential Duties Include But Are Not Limited To Maintaining and transforming strategies into operational plans according to business priorities.
Ability and Experience in project estimating, project scheduling & tracking, customer interaction and management, implementation planning in large organizations, change management
Gathering and analyzing business team needs.
Documents and maintain operational procedures and processes relating to analytical and reporting processes.
Planning project and monitoring progress against plan, ensuring actions are taken to deliver according to agreed schedule
Driving product design, development and implementation of user stories.
Coordinating project teams and act as scrum master on Agile projects
Support in-line business resources on large projects.
Monitor work of Business Intelligence team and ensure effective implementation of all Information Technology projects to achieve corporate objectives.
Advocates for reporting automation, self-serve analytics consumption, and the culture of analytics-driven decision-making.
Provides input to design, development, and leads the implementation and delivery of analytic solutions, providing reports, dashboards and other intelligence essential to business operations using our BI tool (Power BI preferred).
Supports the development of the strategy and roadmap for data quality and data analytics, data modeling, reporting, business intelligence, and the design and development of sophisticated decision support tools
Performs ongoing quality assessment to ensure alignment and consistency with targeted business goals. QC'd data would span across all Precision Medicine Group Business and Operational Systems (e.g. routine updates, proposal requests and generating both regularly scheduled and impromptu reports)
Identifies emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making and makes recommendations to senior leaders on strategy and new initiatives, based on an in-depth understanding of the business/group.
Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on business objectives
Deep understanding of leading and developing operations team models and functions.
Manages, mentors and develops Business Operations Associates.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from four-year College or University, or equivalent experience
7+ years of experience IT software development project and program management
Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse efforts.
Proven expertise with advanced BI tool functionality and report development
Knowledge and experience in data preparation, data analysis, and statistical tool sets including but not limited to Spotfire, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, SAS, R, Python, MATLAB, SPSS
Effective understanding of relational database and warehousing concepts including but not limited to Hadoop, Hive, Microsoft SQL
Sales and Marketing Tech experience
Experience with full-cycle CRM implementations and/or org merges
Solid understanding of CRM capabilities and limitations and can articulate those to others
Salesforce Administrator certifications or equivalent experience/expertise, a plus
5+ years of experience in Agile software development environments (Scrum, SAFe, LESS, Kanban, etc.)
Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment.

Other Preferences
Master's degree.
Experience with one or more of the following kinds of projects big data, data science, analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning
Hands on experience with Atlassian Dev Ops environment (Jira, Confluence)
CRO/pharmaceutical industry experience
Knowledge of marketing automation tools
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Ability to deliver on commitments, an understanding of the service culture and demonstrates a high degree of professionalism, as evidenced by ability to work remotely, independently, with ability to drive tasks to completion within timelines.

Identify training needs for direct reports and develop training plans to address those needs
Strong Communication Skills, both verbally and written.
Conduct formal presentations to a wide variety of audiences across different media including colleagues, and clients with a high level of proficiency
