What we are looking for: Wealth Sales is a senior position responsible for driving and managing sales efforts in the wealth management space. The role is responsible for direct sales and C-Level client relationships to ensure Sales and Revenue retention goals. This position has direct responsibility for revenue, growth and retention associated with the Wealth Management sales business. What you are responsible for: * Wealth Management sales industry experience * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to change and adapt quickly, while remaining focused on customers and executing business initiatives * Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence internal business partners * A customer orientation which allows him/her to solicit, acquire, and act on information from customers concerning their current and future needs, issues and challenges * Experience managing a large portfolio of clients and building senior relationships * Proven experience successfully managing and building complex, enterprise sales * Communicate value proposition of latest features and functions along with industry trends driving behavior in the market place * Ensure high caliber client interactions and communication * Territory management and account coverage to maximize ability to achieve and exceed sales quota * Work with Inside Sales to hit targets, effectively transfer qualified leads and nurture prospects to next steps of sales cycle * Extensive interface with existing and prospective clients * Travel required 30%-50% Desired Qualifications or Skills: * Bachelor's degree (Master's Preferred) * 10+ years of industry experience * Specific knowledge of the investment industry with a focus on Wealth Management * Ability to work tactically and strategically to drive revenue growth * Strong leadership profile coupled with outstanding verbal and written communications * Superb business judgment and ability to think through complex business issues About State Street: What we do.
