POSITION OVERVIEW:ROLE SUMMARYUnder the general guidance of the Head of Global eCommerce, the Global eCommerce Channel Director will develop and implement the global eCommerce channel strategies in the global markets and support the overall E-commerce growth, focusing on marketplace and omni-channels in US, China, Germany, Korea and global markets.Success in the role is demonstrated by the ability to collaborate with markets and communicate meaningful conclusions that drive improved eCommerce performance in the global markets. Under a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment, this role will provide expertise and will drive business goals by working with external channel partners and key markets to identify growth opportunities, develop initiatives and spearhead rapid deployment through a multiple-Market and/or global approach.RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement the Sanofi e-Commerce channel strategy in global markets, through respective channel execution guidelines for pure-player, marketplaces, and omni-channels.
  • Identify key channel partners in e-commerce space at global/lead country level and develop strategic partnerships and JBPs.
  • Develop yearly eCommerce channel activation plan and toolbox in coordination with countries, ensure successful omni-channel & pure play activation for online shoppers (channel switchers and new entrants), and a seamless shopper experience.
  • Lead and collaborate with multi-functional teams to identify gaps, and roll out of key initiatives, to ensure the service (assortment, order fulfilment, etc.) to different channels and meet their specific needs.
  • Monitor and track channel's financial and operational performance at the global level.
  • Lead partner engagement and shape the regulatory environment together with the key partners.
  • Evaluate and ensure adequate resources are identified and activated within the current organization, to drive the channel growth in eCommerce.
  • Identify new areas of eCommerce opportunity beyond current organizational thinking
  • Develop and foster the culture of customer centricity and excellence in execution for the eCommerce domainREQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
    • 10-15 years proven experience in building and leading a Digital/ E-commerce operation, with demonstrated success managing E-commerce channel operations and leading business initiatives from conception to implementation.
    • Experience of leading critical and high impact x-functional projects in MNC companies
    • Strong mental agility and flexibility to adapt to a constantly changing business environment, initiate new and improved ways of working, continuously drive innovation and inspire the organization to achieve and exceed its objectives.
    • Solid negotiation skills with experience developing contracts and partnerships.
    • Collaborate effectively with peers, stakeholders and partners across the organization to positively impact business results.
    • Effective influencing without direct authority
    • International experience, good inter-cultural skills and ability to adapt leadership style in different cultural environments.
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related disciplines. MBA preferred.KEY STAKEHOLDERS
