Job Description:

Position Overview:The Process Optimization Manager (POM) leads/ participates in transversal projects within the Clinical Sciences and Operations Scientific Core Platform (CSO SCP) and Pasteur clinical departments for which changes/improvements to business processes are expected.The POM fosters innovation and continuous improvement and provides support to multiples CSO departments and Pasteur clinical departments by:

  • Assessing current processes and proposing new ways of working.
  • Leading / participating in the business process definition, identifying and analyzing the impact and change in current ("as is") processes and corresponding process documentation: Quality Documents (QDs) with the support of the Quality Document Manager(s) (QDM) and training material with the support of Training Project Manager(s) (TPM).
  • Ensuring the new processes defined will be appropriately communicated.
  • Co-defines the process strategy implementation roadmap in collaboration with the Business Process Owner (BPO) (mainly head of clinical departments).
  • Evaluate and interpret information (e.g. data, metrics, KPI/QPI, literature) to proactively support business decisions.
  • Ensure Quality requirement of the process and its deliverables.Collaboration:
    • Transversal collaboration not only with clinical but also with Medical, Country, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs, Digital (ITS), Quality departments.Knowledge, Skills & Competencies / Language:
      • Able to provide expert level of guidance to associates on questions related to business processes.
      • Already worked in project mode (business and/ or ITS projects).
      • Ability to analyze business processes, using a determined methodology, propose alternative solutions for improvement.
      • Communication and leadership skills.
      • Knowledge of international good clinical practices (ICH) and thorough understanding of current regulatory requirements related/ applicable to the conduct of clinical trials.
      • Competent in English (both written and verbal) to interact effectively in an international environment.
      • Knowledge in Business Process Management (BPM) methodology (i.e. Lean, 6-sigma) is a plus.
      • Use of meeting management tools and systems.
      • Use of process design tools.Basic Qualifications:
        • Bachelor degree or higher in a relevant scientific/health-related field.
