Job Description

We are looking for a (Sr.) Brand Manager to help build an iconic brand at a global scale. This is your chance to impact the branding of one of the fastest growing tech companies. Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Brand Strategy, you will play a key role in how our brand is perceived and experienced. By leading Freshworks' Brand Asset Management, you will help us grow awareness and build strong brand equity

The top candidate has experience managing world-class brands that are purpose-driven, and have a deep understanding of building brand strategies across all channels. In this role, you will help us scale a brand that is both globally consistent and locally relevant.

As all great brands must start with their employees, you will help us lead the necessary behavioral shift to connect brand and company culture. You will lead efforts to raise awareness and build our brand internally, so that employees embrace what it stands for and why consistency is critical to our business success. You will create new experiences that provide better, faster, and easier access to our brand for employees and partners. And you will build a best-in-class foundation of tools, training and processes to elevate and reinforce a feeling of brand pride.

  • Recruit, coach, and manage a high performing team that proactively gathers ongoing business needs and partners closely across Marketing and the broader organization.
  • Develop a best-in-class process to document and codify our brand strategy, messaging, positioning, naming, identity, assets, and templates on Brand Center.
  • Provide direction to Brand Asset Manager and implement communications across channels to inform audiences on updates or additions to Brand Center.
  • Elevate brand education by leading global Brand Camps for employees and agencies.
  • Create a robust brand approval process and manage a brand governance team to drive brand performance, alignment across the company, and protection of brand reputation.
  • Drive brand adoption with an agile and flexible brand management style in order to keep up with the rapid pace of our high-growth business.
  • Drive brand audit study - internal brand and culture scores, external brand ecosystem.
  • Ensure brand alignment and consistency of demand gen marketing initiatives and programs.
  • Drive vision, strategy and prioritization of team responsibilities.
  • Accountable for the strategic evolution of brand guidelines.
  • Lead rollout of ongoing brand/positioning evolution and extension, beginning with new asset library launch.
  • Accountable for quarterly brand plan that includes budgets and build out of asset libraries to solve business needs.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree (min.) and 10+ years of real-world brand management experience for visible brands, leading guidelines, education, governance.
    • High energy with the ability to lead meaningful change in an extremely dynamic, diverse environment.
    • Outstanding global communicator with the ability to build relationships, influence across all levels, and drive smart decision-making.
    • Able to actively listen and engage across teams to build strong relationships with a high degree of trust.
