Compliance Manager

Position Overview:
The Compliance Manager will ensure that the company's clinical operations and business transactions are in keeping with all relevant compliance guidance, legal and internal rules. The person in this role will also be responsible for reviewing documentation and providing guidance regarding compliance.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Assist in the development and implementation of an effective compliance program.
Working across organizational boundaries to establish an effective enterprise compliance program that is appropriately focused on higher risk activities.
Creating positive and collaborative relationships within SCT to further foster compliance adherence and awareness.
Acts as a trusted advisor to the business for compliance (consults with legal counsel as necessary).
Creates a compliance awareness program (ongoing annual updates and review).
Creates compliance training (ongoing annual updates and review).
Reinforces and sets an example of ethics and integrity and the ability of all employees and contractors to make good faith reports regarding compliance concerns without fear of retaliation
Development of an annual risk assessment.
Development of annual auditing and monitoring program.
Review and investigation of compliance reports, at the direction of legal counsel, when appropriate.
Manage reviews by external auditors and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions plans that appropriately mediate compliance risks.
Oversee the training of all clinicians and employees to ensure proper procedures are implemented and followed.
Oversee HIPAA Compliance.
Implement and oversee process to allow for complaints.
Collaborate with outside professionals, including external auditors, and HR as needed.
Ensure any updates, changes or laws relating to the company are updated and implemented.
Incorporate additional compliance processes to additional area of service
Oversee QA on all clinical matters.
Be available to travel to various sites as needed.

Qualifications:
LCSW License strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred
Previous experience managing compliance in the healthcare field
Fluency in industry practices and professional standards.
CHC certification required within 12 months of hire.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proactive work style, keeping ahead of the curve in auditing of processes, practices, and documents to identify weaknesses before they become problems.
Critical thinking and attention to detail needed to evaluate business activities (e.g. policies, investments, client partnerships) and assess compliance risk
Positive and professional demeanor
Basic computer proficiency
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Track record of integrity and commitment to professional ethics.
Excellent collaborative teamwork skills.
