Job Description:

This role, has two clear areas of responsibilities, related but distinct: On the IT Operations area, this individual is responsible primarily for building, maintaining, and supporting the network and server infrastructures (On-prem and cloud), client hardware and software, Identity and Access management and controls, database, and infrastructure services administration, to ensure that they are aligned to Solta's ability to successfully meet its business objectives. This individual's principal goals are to develop solutions and methodologies that allow for the effective and smooth management of the global infrastructure, services, and security stance of Solta, attaining service level agreements for all stakeholders across the organization.On the IT Security area, this role is responsible for providing enterprise-wide leadership to establish and maintain a comprehensive Security Program for Information Security and Physical Security, ensuring compliance and managing organizational security risks. Responsibility includes development, implementation and maintenance of security policies and procedures, workforce and department training, annual and ongoing risk assessments for all sites, oversight of the investigation and tracking of incidents and compliance breaches, ensures the organization is compliant with administrative and physical safeguards, and current with evidence-based security practices.Accordingly, the incumbent will plan, design, and direct all operational activities of the IT Operations & Security globally, as well as provide direction and support for IT solutions that enhance mission-critical business operations. The Executive Director, Information Technology Operations and Security will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.Required QualificationsExperience in IT infrastructure strategic planning and development, project management, and/or policy developmentExperience in DevOps practices and managing change in large scale corporate operations based on state-of-the-art ITSM practices.Experience in information security including computing, data privacy, internet technologies, threat, and detection (malware, phishing, etc.), and other security domains.Leadership experience with a strong operational background in Information and Physical Security across multiple sites2-3 years' experience management experience in complex organization including experience in management of security specialistsExperience accompanied with degree OR certificationBachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Engineering Technology, Network Security or Computer ScienceProfessional security management certification(s) (CISSP, CISM, CISO, etc.)Good understanding and technical knowledge of current network and client operating systems, hardware, protocols, and standards, such as Windows OS, cloud platforms like M365 and Azure, Hardware platforms like HP, Nutanix, Cohesity, Cisco, PaloAlto. Experience with systems design and development from business requirements analysis through to day-to-day management.Demonstrated experience in developing business processes, managing staff, budgeting, and/or overseeing business office operations. Demonstrated ability to apply IT in solving business problems.In-depth knowledge of applicable laws and regulations as they relate to IT in a global company.Proven track record in managing operations through Managed Services Providers in combination with internal resources to achieve maximum flexibility and resilience of operational support.Strong understanding of how to apply emerging security technologies to solve busines problemsProven track record of developing and implementing a comprehensive cybersecurity strategic plans, policies, and proceduresProven skills for effectively articulating and solutioning program with clear and concise communication strategies to senior leadership. Proven discrete and ethical conduct, demonstrated written, oral, listening and communication skills.Demonstrated skills in collaboration, teamwork, analysis and problem-solvingDemonstrated skills in providing excellent customer serviceDemonstrated results-oriented, team leadership abilities with a successful track-record of managing and delivering multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment but remain appropriately detail-orientedProven ability to lead teams across multiple locations both domestic and internationalJob ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Planning:Work with CIO and IT LT to formulate and deploy long-term strategic plans for acquiring and enabling efficient and cost-effective information processing and communication technologies.Manage IT Operations operational and strategic planning, including business requirements, project planning, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources.Guide business and IT leaders in making investment decisions that balance and prioritize current operational demands, disruptions, and opportunities with the longer-term strategic vision of the organization.Provide technology guidance, road maps, principles, standards, and best practices.IT OperationsDesign and continuously evolve infrastructure support to ensure it aligns with business processes, tactical planning, and strategic vision.Develop and review budgets for IT Operations globally and ensure they comply with stated goals, guidelines, and objectives.Review performance of IT systems to determine operating costs, productivity levels, and upgrade requirements.Benchmark, analyze, report on, and make recommendations for the improvement of the IT infrastructure and IT systems.Maintain global infrastructure up to date, and develop technology sustainable plans for the investments necessaryAuthorize and oversee the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, and support of all hardware and software aligned with the Solta IT and business strategy, prioritizing a Cloud First approach.Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives.Direct research on potential technology solutions and implementations in support of new initiatives, opportunities, and procurement efforts.Oversee provision of end-user services, including help desk and technical support services.Own IT Service Management practice globally in alignment with standard practices (i.e., ISO 20000)Develop, implement, and keep up to date all IT policies and procedures related to architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, and service provision, as well as End User Support.Oversee negotiation and administration of vendor, outsourcer, and consultant contracts and service agreements.Manage IT staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions.IT Security:Builds an enterprise wide strategic and comprehensive security program that develops, maintains, and implements policies and processes that minimize risk to the workforce and the organization. Facilitates activities that foster security awareness by the workforce within the organization.Creates a culture of security and drives behavioral change within the organization, as necessary. Evaluates security trends, risks and vulnerabilities and utilizes tools to mitigate risk. Collaborates and shares strategic vision with all levels of leadership in the organization including senior leadership, facility, and leaders across business units in a complex, highly matrixed organizationOversees members of security management at all sites through a dual reporting relationship with facility administrators.Oversees the development of ongoing security training to the workforce. Ensures the organization has and maintains audit controls to of electronic systems including surveillance cameras, badge access systems, key and electronic access controls, visitor access controls and other means of physical security control.Establishes and administers processes for investigating and acting on security incidents which may result in breaches.Partners with People Support to ensure consistent sanctions for security violations. Evaluates Change Requests to ensure security standards are adhered to. Serves as a security consultant to all departments for security related issues.Partners with Legal and Compliance on all Data Security and Privacy policies, requirements, action, and response when needed.Works closely with local, state, and federal law enforcement and other security agencies. Ensures compliance with security related standards and guidelines as required by all regulatory bodies. Ensures that all required and optional training and educational requirements are met by Security staff.Represents Security on committees including drug diversion, workplace violence prevention, environment of care, workforce safety, compliance, safety, and infection control. Sets and achieves organizational security metric goals related to incident data trends.Represents Security in the design of all construction and renovation initiatives within the organization. Provides analysis and action planning for unfavorable security trends in monthly and/or annual reporting. Develops and oversees department operating budget and meets budgeted targets. Escalates issues of concern to local administrators and/or Senior Leadership as appropriate. Ensures oversight for ISO 27001:2013, ISO 9001:2015, PCI DSS 3.2 ROC, SSAE 18 Type II SOC, and HIPAA Hitech certifications and ensures readiness for future certifications releases and standards. Maintains strict governance over current vendors used for security technologies.
