Manufacturing Manager - Injection Molding needed for global plastic manufacturing firm

• Trenton, NJ Area
• Manager level A leading plastics manufacturing firm is looking for a Manufacturing Manager - Injection Molding to oversee the Manufacturing teamReporting directly to the Plant Manager, the Manufacturing Manager - Injection Molding individual will leverage a strong injection molding background to help facilitate manufacturing operations in the injection molding facility. They will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the production team.The Manufacturing Manager - Injection Molding will have the following responsibilities:
  • Guarantees production compliance with all industry and company regulations
  • Manages production process utilizing injection molding and extrusion expertise
  • Ensure GMP and sanitations standards are met
  • Lead the day-to-day production operations of Manufacturing team particularly around injection molding processes
  • Ensure operations are in line with a continuous improvement culture
  • Coordinate the scheduling for the production lines
  • Hire, coach, and upscale employees as future business leaders
  • Train employees on injection molding and extrusion manufacturing processes
  • Ensure that daily KPIs and fulfillment goals are being optimized
  • Employ Lean initiative throughout all team processes
  • Guarantee efficiency of ERP system processes
  • Coordinate OSHA trainings and safety meetings
  • Manage extrusion processes
  • Oversee all daily line performance metrics and implement improvements where necessaryThe ideal Manufacturing Manager - Injection Molding candidate will have the following:
    • 3+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Injection molding or extrusion experience; blow molding process may be considered for the right candidate
    • Expertise in injection molding manufacturing processes
    • Extensive experience with GMP standards
    • Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment
    • Proven track record in plastic extrusion or injection molding environment
