responsible for building and expanding upon the existing Supplier
Relationship Management Program. This program currently covers key
vendors in the Finance Operations Indirect, Shared Services, and IT
organization. Due to the growth of the program, Otsuka is looking
to create a center of excellence for the governance of our vendors
across the enterprise (OAPI, OPDC, ODH, OCPI). The supplier
relationship management group will work closely with Strategic
Sourcing and Requestors of Services (ROS) who manage the vendor
relationships.Job DescriptionThis position is a centralized
governance role to help to stand up and administer the new vendor
management program. Key activities include (but are not limited
to):
- In conjunction with Sourcing and key stakeholders, lead
Supplier Relationship program for assigned supplier categories and
ensure that we are driving forward actions and desired
outcomes.
- Develop, formalize, and maintain collaborative relationships
with strategic suppliers, including interfacing with senior leaders
and business operations to drive business outcomes. Establish
actionable goals between suppliers and Otsuka operations and drive
communication between both sides.
- Using the Governance Charter, drive the rhythm of Operational
Support Team and Executive Support Team meetings, which includes
drafting agendas, capturing key actions and takeaways, conducting
gap analyses using surveys, and driving continuous improvement via
performance improvement plans and risk mitigation planning.
- Ensure a common supplier engagement and risk assessment
approach is taken with regards to the management of key
suppliers.
- Work with suppliers and key stakeholders in drafting measurable
KPI's.
- Lead the collation and management of supplier performance
metrics.
- Develop and maintain supplier performance and relationship
summary overviews, including dashboards, presentations, meeting
minutes, action item logs, performance improvement plans, and risk
mitigation plans.
- Conduct and analyze internal and external surveys to evaluate
supplier performance, trends, and gap identification that inform
supplier performance reviews and business planning with suppliers
and create supplier and category scorecards based on this
information.
- Stay abreast of current industry practices and bring innovative
ideas proactively into Otsuka.QualificationsRequired
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management,
Finance, or Business.
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years' experience in strategic sourcing or
vendor management program, as well as a minimum of 1 year of
managing large, complex vendor relationships.
- Demonstrable understanding of the end-to-end technology
sourcing to pay process.
- Leading teams though a process of vendor performance and risk
migration that manages contract metrics that may include a
remediation plan to improve performance.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word,
PowerPoint, and Excel) and SharePoint Management.Experience using
Ariba is a plus.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze data and determine creative ways to present
the data to tell the story.
- Ability to interact effectively with stakeholders and
executives across business and technology units.
- Ability to plan, organize and carry out multiple related
