Position Description
You will be growing and leading distributed SRE engineering teams
within the Honeywell Connected Life Sciences division of the
Connected Enterprise business unit. You will collaborate closely
with the CTO, Architects, R&D, and business stakeholders to
define and execute initiatives; as well as provide feedback to
drive your teams to deliver scalable, maintainable, secure,
high-performing products.
YOU MUST HAVE--- 5+ years of experience building and running
high-performance infrastructure engineering or operations teams
--- 5+ years of up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging SRE
tooling and best practices, such as; ELK, Terraform,
CloudFormation, Checkpoint, Serverless, Microservices, Event Driven
Architecture, Web Security
--- 8+ years of relevant software engineering work experience with
focus on SaaS-based application
WE VALUEBachelor of Science in Engineering or computer
engineeringDeep understanding of Terraform, Kubernetes, Amazon Web
Services, and configuration management toolsExtensive experience in
software engineering and development, including experience
developing, deploying, and scaling cloud-native software
componentsExperience working on remote globally distributed
high-performing teams and largely asynchronous work
environmentsFinancial accountability and proven track-record
driving cost optimizations and vendor relationship, a FinOps
leaderStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate
diverse groups, help negotiate priorities, and resolve conflicts
