Overview--- - - - - - -Leverage competitive landscape and market
research analysis to contribute to the development of brand
strategies in our epilepsy, insomnia and Alzheimer's Disease
franchises--- - - - - - -Support the development of hypotheses and
actionable insights--- - - - - - -Be responsible for management and
coordination of primary market research initiatives (both
qualitative and quantitative), competitive intelligence studies,
and secondary data analysis for brands and markets--- - - - - -
-Ensure that market research deliverables meet current and future
needs of the brand/organization, in close coordination with
stakeholders in US marketing, sales, market access, and the global
commercial teams--- - - - - - -Collaborate with various internal
(local and global) and external partners to share information that
provides insightsJob Description - - - - - - -Partner with key
marketing and other local and global cross-functional team members
to devise innovative research-based business solutions that are
cost-effective. Inform strategic choice decisions and help to align
the organization through an evidence-based approach. Manage market
research planning and execution, as appropriate. - - - - - -
-Monitor changes in the marketplace via primary and secondary
market research and competitive intelligence. Utilize information
from these analyses to develop insights for business partners,
enabling business hypotheses generation that leads to strategy and
execution - - - - - - -Develop and track KPIs for key strategies
and executional initiatives, collecting data from tracking
measurements that will enable strategy refinement and enhanced
performance over time - - - - - - -Manage market research budgets
and negotiate vendor contracts as appropriate - - - - - - -Design,
coordinate, and manage projects for both in-house and outsourced
market research projects - - - - - - -Incorporate the hhc
philosophy along with understanding of the true patient needs into
analysis - - - - - - -Inform strategic and tactical decisions for
assigned brand(s)/indications - - - - - - -Develop and track
performance KPIs and metrics - - - - - - -Provide understanding of
market dynamics and key factors to internal stakeholders - - - - -
- -Timely management and execution of contracts with external
market research/analytics/ competitive intelligence suppliers - - -
- - - -Accountable for management of annual budget within +/-
3%---QUALIFICATIONS: - - - - - - -BA/BS Degree Required, MS/MBA
Desired - - - - - - -5-10 years of experience with a pharmaceutical
or healthcare company - - - - - - -Minimum of 3 years in market
research - - - - - - -Experience with Neurology market research
preferred - - - - - - -Experience in managing primary qualitative &
quantitative market research - - - - - - -Experience with the use
of secondary data such as Xponent, APLD, NPA, etc. or similar - - -
- - - -Familiarity with Competitive Intelligence methods and
practices - - - - - - -Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills -Experience and successful track record working in
cross-functional team environments -Strong presentation skills - -
