CS: Making Buildings Better - SCOPE OF POSITION: The primary responsibility of the Project Manager III is to manage and coordinate the progress of orders by means of order review, meetings, follow up and communication with internal departments and Customers until completion. The Project Manager III will coordinate amongst various business unit(s), manage and/or evaluate development of these projects with varied complexities. Through initial review/meetings, have beneficial knowledge of job specific requirements that are effectively communicated and controlled through prepared status reports, meetings, and updates. Represent the company as a professional and knowledgeable resource that can be relied on for a successful and profitable completion. This position supports our Architectural Louvers, Grilles/Shading, Explovent business unit. Qualified candidates will have experience with building fa--ade, and exterior design and construction experience. This is a REMOTE position; however, to be considered, applicants should reside in the following states: PA, GA, NJ, TX, WI, NV, AZ, or FL. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions, including but not necessarily limited to the following: Complete knowledge of project orders Coordinate/Attend meetings (i.e. production, drafting, kickoff, project review, customer/conference calls)Maintain project review list Coordination between all internal departments and customer regarding shop drawings, order changes, and any other topics during project Review and understand any internal department's questions, concerns and or RFI's (request for information); respond in a timely manner through phones calls and emails. Follow up with internal departments regarding project statusesReview drawings against the contract and/or Letter of Intent and or Quote and or clear Sales directionUnderstanding and knowledge of our products, fabrication processes of the different products, building construction, and contract document knowledge Follow upon all jobs that are out for approval but jobs that are in drafting or released Trouble shooting details, materials, or field conflictsMaintain a heightened level of customer & project team communication to ensure all parties are aligned on current & forthcoming project statusUpdate ERP system order notes when necessaryMaintain both electronic and physical files/foldersImplement and deliver solution-driven strategies Work closely with production and purchasing to give a pro-active approach for materials required and deadlinesPrioritize and delegate tasks to Project Manager I and II as appropriate Other duties as required by management.Qualifications KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION: (Minimum Education and/or Experience required) Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school Required experience with building fa--ade, and exterior design and construction experience. Five to ten years of proven and demonstrable success, experience, and expertise in a role of similar capacity. Organizational skills Excellent communication skills, oral and written Knowledge of Construction and fabrication methods/processes Knowledge of BPCS, Windows Office programs, Understands AutoCAD and/or Bluebeam Detail-Oriented Able to multi-task and handle several projects at one-time Experience with reviewing architectural and structural drawings Ability to read rough or detailed sketches, designs, specifications and/or notes, analyze, and interpret architectural and structural drawings Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships. Knowledge of how to manage and work with contractors.
