Job Description:The CPT COO team is responsible for running and
controlling business operations processes including Forecasting,
Financial Management, Workforce Management, Workspace Management
and Executive Support, leveraging partnerships with Finance, Human
Resources, Talent Acquisition, Global Business Services, Portfolio
Delivery and Risk to effectively run the business of technology.
Prior program management or technology delivery experience handling
multiple facets of running the business of technology: financial
management, project management, process improvement, reporting,
data analysis, governance, operations and technology management,
and strategic planningThis role will provide horizontal business
support for the CPT organization, including, but not limited to:
providing editorial and technical expertise to help develop and
deliver communications for Release Highlights and Monthly
Accomplishments, requisition/staffing management, and
organizational health. This role will partner with other Business
Support Managers (BSMs) in CPT COO to drive business decisions and
ensure consistent practices around critical operational processes,
serve as the point person for coordination of end to end business
activities, and articulate risks and opportunities to financial
forecasts and business outcomes. The person filling this role will
need excellent communication skills and have the ability negotiate
and work with all levels of employees, including executive
leadership. This role will proactively work with varying degrees of
the organization to produce and uphold a high standard of quality
on program materials, process execution, and
communications.Responsibilities include:* Write articles about
successful teams and initiatives, and significantly expand upon the
success story repository* Translate complex content into everyday
language* Deliver accurate, polished written communications with
strong word count economy* Provide support and expertise in
PowerPoint; suggest effective ways to visually represent
information, applying graphic design skills* Help technologists
articulate the business value and impact of their work, in plain
English* Work with peers and tech leaders to create content and
promote initiatives, often under tight deadlines* Exhibit a grasp
of technology-oriented subject matter; be able to apply metaphors
to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences* Collaborate
with stakeholders, solicit feedback and build consensus among
constituents who have diverse perspectives and priorities* Ensures
consistent practices around key processes* Conducts ad-hoc analysis
and reporting on a range of topics* Develop processes to optimize
tool integration and best practices* Prep for Org Health monthly
routines* Negotiate vertically and horizontally to leverage
resources and teams to drive transformationRequired Skills* Strong
analytical and organizational skills with a focus on attention to
detail* Ability to decompose complex issues and drive timely
decisions, knowing when to engage others for additional input, and
when to act independently* Advanced/Expert MS Office skills,
especially Excel and PowerPoint* Extremely organized/excellent time
management skills* Ability to think strategically across the
organization to identify opportunities to improve overall
performance efficiency* Proven ability to develop executive ready
communications and presentations.* Ability to develop comprehensive
plans around key organizational priorities and ensure all
accountable parties understand respective roles/responsibilities*
