**Business Strategy Planning Director**
**Location: 0-3 times/month in office if located within 50 miles of a PulsePoint Office.**
**We are seeking a Business Strategy Planning Director in the Carelon Product Portfolio Management organization to work on high priority, high visibility strategic portfolio planning and insight activities to support our growth.**
**How you will make an impact:**
**Understands all aspects of the business and partners with executive leadership to define portfolio strategy and successful criteria for the future.**
**Translates portfolio strategy into defined tactics, programs/projects priorities, and timelines and ensures alignment and attainment of enterprises strategic plans to turn strategy into reality.**
**Documents strategic portfolio priorities such as external environment and incorporates customer insight and feedback into portfolio initiatives.**
**Builds and leverages relationships to provide innovative solutions to complex business problems.**
**Proposes opportunities to improve results based on continuous needs assessment.**
**Responsible for the development implementation and monitoring of line of business portfolio planning and project activities**
**Develops and maintains strategy reporting that captures the overall view of the portfolio strategy,**
**Collaborates deeply across the organization including with matrixed product leaders, Customer Success, Carelon Strategy, Product Center of Excellence, Finance, and others.**
**Minimum Requirements:**
**Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of related experience including prior leadership experience and 3 to 5 year strategic planning; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.**
**Ability to travel may be required.**
**Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:**
**Healthcare/managed care strategic planning, portfolio management experience or large-scale strategy project experience preferred.**
**MBA preferred or Healthcare consulting experience preferred.**
**Research, analytical and financial modeling/valuation skills to build compelling business cases.**
**Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables with a high degree of accountability and personal urgency and tackle ambiguous problems.**
**Highly collaborative and able to influence. Should embrace, support and practice a collaborative style which goes beyond relationship building. Will achieve results with and through others.**
**Demonstrates thought leadership, ability to execute on strategy through seasoned relationship building, including positive executive level interaction and an ability to engage in difficult conversations.**
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $127,600 to $229,680.
