Read more: careers.bms.com/working-with-us.Employer:------------ Bristol-Myers Squibb CompanyPosition:------------------ Manager, WWPS Case Management (ref.# 4140)Location:---------------- 3551 Lawrenceville Road, Lawrence Township, NJ 08648Duties: Draw on knowledge of hierarchical dictionary reporting dictionaries, MedDRA (Medical Dictionary for Regulatory Activities) and UMC WHODrug, and experience with understanding of the versioning and maintenance of MedDRA; understanding of medical concepts, biology and chemistry in support of medical coding; and understanding of regulations, GCP, ICH guidelines to code medical terminology to deliver accurate and consistent medical coding within established timelines and in compliance with all processes, guidelines and conventions. Interface with colleagues from external teams on coding related matters and serving as the medical coding subject matter expert within WWPS (Worldwide Patient Safety). Ensure coding with MedDRA, WHODrug, or company specific dictionary is clear, appropriate and complete based upon the reported information and coded in compliance with all processes, guidelines and conventions. When required, manage and execute day to day operational aspects of ICSR Case Processing in collaboration with business partners and stakeholder functions in order to ensure continuous compliance and high quality of ICSR process. Manage day to day oversight and execution of project related work as required supporting ICSR process optimization including implementation of regulatory requirements and standards. Contribute to development and maintenance of WWPS case processing conventions in collaboration with applicable stakeholders. Represent case management in Pharmacovigilance (PV) audit and regulatory inspections and contribute to subsequent Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPAs) as needed. May work remotely 5 days every 2 weeks within normal commuting distance of Lawrence Township, NJ.Requirements: Master's degree in Health Informatics, Life Science, Regulatory Affairs, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Nursing or a related field plus 1 year of post-baccalaureate experience in RSI (Reference Safety Information) and coding of adverse event in safety or clinical setting showing demonstrable ability in the skill set described above. The required skills do not need to be maintained over the full term of required experience.The starting compensation for this job is a range from $100,000/year - 130,000/year, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility). The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed.
