Purpose: We are seeking an exceptional Portfolio Manager to support our North America business in portfolio management by analyzing new products from ideation to selection; supporting pipeline optimization and prioritization decisions through analysis of market dynamics vis-s-vis internal projects progress. Draw insights and help craft strategies to plug gaps if any and provide direction for the long-term growth of the business. Responsibilities: --- Ability to track and evaluate new product approvals such as Para IV First-to-File and High Barrier to Entry Products for Rx, OTC & SRx portfolio. --- Recognize potential products based on changing market conditions, player dynamics, and manufacturing challenges. --- Assess portfolio fit for in-licensing / business development opportunities. --- Forecast business case projections to help role assessments on projects. --- Enrich and analyze the strat plan file to help draw meaningful insights & drive actions. --- Monitor and consolidate information from product discussions to support annual planning. --- Identify collaboration opportunities and assist in external product evaluations. --- Respond to requests from relevant stakeholders on business case and support our Global Manufacturing Organization with inputs on capacity information for their analysis for different lines/block/shared equipment at a plant and support Capex decisions. --- Work closely with commercial product managers to collate asks from Cost Improvement Program (CIP). --- Track progress on selected priorities and share an informative MIS. --- Initiate new informative dashboards/trackers. --- Demonstrates agility in work by identifying probable challenges in Portfolio & Product Management. --- Builds relationship with team members & cross-functional teams. --- Analyzes insights from the Portfolio & Product Management process to proactively identify improvement opportunities. --- Demonstrate ownership of end-result and outcome of the area of operations they are responsible for. Qualifications / Skills: --- Bachelor's degree, preferably an MBA, with 3-5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in Portfolio Management, Product / Pipeline Selection & Development, Marketing, Business Development, Strategic Business Planning. --- Understanding of Portfolio Management/Product selection; Deep industry knowledge required w.r.t. growth drivers, competitive landscape, regulations. --- Deep knowledge of generics industry and products. --- Understanding of diseases, therapy & generics regulatory landscape.
