Hunter for the US, you will drive Mastercard's position as the
partner of choice for commercial banks and focus on opportunities
for growth within this segment. This role involves working at the
intersection of our business lines and Mastercard's key clients,
driving collaboration, innovation, and value.Responsibilities:
- Act as the connection between local and regional teams to
execute Mastercard's strategy with commercial banks. Collaborate
with US Teams to align strategies and objectives, share best
practices, demonstrate thought leadership, and build an aligned
execution plan.
- Source, evaluate, and collaborate with targeted commercial
banks by identifying their specific needs and creating value
propositions to win new business.
- Work closely with NAM Product leads, the broader Business
Development team, and parts of Mastercard's product business to
identify opportunities for collaboration and partnership with
commercial banks.
- Execute innovative strategies to drive initiatives in the US,
leveraging partnerships and relationship management skills.
- Develop thought leadership, deploy appropriate value
propositions, and drive marketing and communication initiatives
aligned with global and regional strategies.
- Identify and qualify relevant commercial banks, assess their
strategic fit with Mastercard, and track their business performance
using relevant metrics and KPIs.
- Build rapport and trust with Mastercard customers to maximize
engagements between commercial banks and their clients.All About
You:
- Passionate about the commercial banking space with demonstrated
experience and strong relationships with decision-makers.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies, demonstrating
subject matter expertise and thought leadership.
- Results-driven, customer-focused, with strong business acumen
and a sense of urgency.
- Knowledge in innovative product development, business
development, marketing, client relationship management, and
emerging technologies.
- Proactive in identifying opportunities and developing
strategies to capitalize on them.
- Experience in quickly understanding, utilizing, and
evangelizing new technology.
- Accountable, passionate, ambitious, self-motivated, and
comfortable in a lean, agile environment.
- Expertise in Commercial Banking and/or Payment Industry is
highly desirable.
- An MBA or advanced degree in strategy, marketing,
communications, innovation, or entrepreneurship is a plus.
- Excellent English communication skills, both oral and

$172,000 - $275,000 USD.
