The Impact You’ll Make As the International Business Manager, you’ll directly own the P&L for a critical part of our international business. Youll make decisions that affect profitability, product mix, and inventory flow on a global scale. This is not a plug-and-play role — it’s a chance to influence strategy, simplify complexity, and drive growth where others see operational challenges. What You’ll Do Own and manage the P&L for assigned product lines, including margin and pricing strategy Analyze performance monthly and implement actions to close financial gaps Oversee product availability and inventory (frozen, distressed, Save/No Save decisions) Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Operations, and Sales to align specs and mix Manage relationships with international customers through discovery, direct selling, and negotiation Lead evaluation of product performance and participate in product cuttings and competitive benchmarking Build SOPs to improve clarity, reduce inefficiencies, and institutionalize best practices What Makes This Role Exciting? You’ll need to bring financial fluency, global awareness, and the grit to solve complex problems across silos. Experience & Background: Years of Experience: 5 - 7 years in product/category management, international sales, or supply chain roles in food, meat, or CPG Industry Background: Meat/protein production, food & beverage, international agriculture, or premium CPG with complex supply chains Education: Bachelor’s in Business, Supply Chain, Food Science, or related field; MBA preferred but not required Must Have: Strong Profit & Loss (P&L) experience Mindset: Bias for action, curious thinker, collaborative partner Values-driven: committed to integrity, innovation, and accountability Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building structure from complexity Your Future at Clemens Success in this role opens several paths: Promotion to Director of International (the previous role holder now holds this title) Transition into other Business Unit Manager roles (e.g., Fresh, Primals) Expanded leadership opportunities in Warehouse, Operations, or Global Strategy Application Note: Clemens Food Group is not accepting unsolicited resumes from search or staffing firms.
