The US Oncology, Director of Community Oncology Strategy and Marketing will lead the Community Oncology Strategy and Marketing while elevating and differentiating the Oncology portfolio across tumors. Execution will focus on key customer customers in the Community setting including Oncology Networks, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), the multi-disciplinary team (MDT), and Health Informatics Technology (HIT). The position will report directly to the US Oncology Commercial Portfolio Lead and will have 4 direct reports. Close collaboration with the tumor teams and cross-functional teams is required for success. In this role and through the leadership of his/her direct reports, the Director of Community Oncology Strategy and Marketing will: Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop team of 4 marketers
  • Develop and execute Community Oncology Strategy aligned with Oncology Portfolio and Hematology teams
  • Lead Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO) and Oncology Networks strategy and engagement tactics to support in-line business and key launches
  • Work with Engagement Hub and Sales to ensure Community Oncology engagement is maximized consistent with our business objectives and priorities
  • Build and foster strategic partnerships to broaden the Oncology portfolio's strategic impact to the entire Multi-Disciplinary team
  • Develop tailored innovative tactics for Community Oncologists as needed
  • Ensure appropriate links to Advocacy organizations
  • Lead US Oncology Health IT function aligned with Hematology business and other Business Units including 2 Health IT Specialists and customer facing resources
  • Lead multi-disciplinary team congresses, materials, and tactics
  • Drive organization innovation through leading and piloting "big ideas" at the portfolio level Qualifications & Experience
    • BS/BA required with MBA or other Advanced Degree Preferred--
    • Minimum of 7-10 years of pharmaceutical experience with a minimum of 5 years of marketing experience
    • Oncology, Management, and Sales experience strongly preferred
    • Ability to develop and manage strong customer relationships
    • Prior Health Care Practitioner marketing experience with demonstrated expertise in customer focus, insight mining, strategy development, and marketing analytics
    • Experience in managing external resources and partners including advertising agencies
    • Proven track record of effectively and efficiently shaping strategy and driving performance within a matrix organization
    • Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication skills, and executive collaboration required
