WW Medical plays a unique role in unlocking the full potential of our scientific and medical innovation by bridging clinical development with clinical practice.-- Responsibilities Within a specific therapeutic area of Dermatology, Medical Director: Provides scientific and clinical input into the development of therapeutic area strategy, the development of marketed and/or early compounds and into the commercial organizations Provide input into development strategy including the integrated evidence generation plan (Phase IIIb/IV) and ISR areas of interest Provides leadership and expert oversight of Phase IIIb/IV studies, including feasibility assessment, protocol development, safety assessments and data interpretation Collaborates closely with the cross-functional teams (i.e. Regulatory, Development, Clinical team and CRO) in development and oversight of post-marketing studies Drives investigator sponsored research reviews Contributes to the Medical Plan development and execution-- Provides strategic insight into launch activities planning, and executes pre-launch, peri-launch and post-launch tactics Partners and collaborates with the WW Commercial to integrate a medical perspective into the commercialization process Identifies and seeks input from thought leaders on emerging science in drug and biomarker research, disease knowledge and design of clinical protocol and programs Develops Thought leader engagement plan Connects to thought leaders and medical community to obtain, identify and translate medical insights Provides knowledge transfer from Worldwide Medical headquarters to the regions and markets Partners in the development of health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) and access strategy Partners with the Publications and Content team to develop and review key content for congresses, manuscripts, FAQs and medical standard response letters Provides data dissemination via data rollout plans and training-- Provide medical review of asset content to align with overall strategy Provide Medical input and perspective at key forums. Qualifications:-- Advanced medical degree (MD preferred) and 5+ years of experience in specific therapeutic areas of interest: Dermatology - psoriasis and other skin diseases, or Rheumatology - psoriatic arthritis, lupus Experience in peer-to-peer interactions within the therapeutic area Experience working in a cross functional team including medical colleagues or clinical, marketing, access and health outcomes Experience in conducting clinical trials Highly organized and motivated individual possessing excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills Around the world, we are passionate about making an impact on the lives of patients with serious diseases.
