Cornerstone Search Group's HEOR/RWE/Market Access Practice has been retained again by one of the industry's most exciting and fastest-growing oncology biotechs (multiple approved biologic blockbusters, 15+ asset innovative pipeline) for an Associate Director, Global HEOR - Heme/Onc position that features a very strong compensation package.

As an AD, you will be actively participating on cross-functional teams and be responsible for developing and executing health economics, outcomes research, real-world evidence, and epidemiology plans that are aligned with brand strategies, medical affairs strategies, clinical development plans, product value propositions, and market access strategies. This role requires scientific leadership and strategic clinical/commercial thinking.

Location: New Jersey / Pennsylvania Metro Area
Our client is conveniently located for people who live in either New Jersey or Pennsylvania. This scenic area is home to many other pharma and biotech companies, affordable housing options (a lot less expensive than California, Massachusetts, and Maryland), and is considered to have some of the best public-school districts in the country.

Relocation: Our client can offer an attractive relocation plan and is comfortable with someone not relocating until after the school year ends in June for children of school age.

Scope of Responsibilities:
Develop strategies to demonstrate the unmet need in disease/value of products with a focus on outcomes meaningful to payers, clinical decision-makers, and regulators.
Generate the evidence necessary to: (1) maximize the commercial value of heme-onc products by demonstrating product differentiation and economic value; and to (2) support the development team's needs, including RWE and epidemiology data to support safety.
Manage multiple projects and product budgets. Interact with vendors in the execution of projects.
Engage with external stakeholders for scientific advice.
Ensure cross-functional strategic alignment by actively collaborating with clinical development, medical affairs, commercial, market access, safety, legal, and regulatory.
Develop communication/publication strategies for your product(s) and publish and present research accomplishments at scientific conferences and forums.
Contribute to HEOR/RWE/Epi departmental strategy and objectives as well as represent the department on key initiatives.

Desired Skills / Qualifications / Experience:
PhD, PharmD, Masters ideally in a relevant field (e.g., HEOR, Outcomes Research, Economics, Epidemiology, Health Services Research, Statistics, etc.)
3+ years in a relevant role for a pharma/biotech, in a managed care setting, or for an HEOR vendor / consulting / CRO / agency.
Experience conducting HEOR and RWE studies. Epi study experience would be a plus, but is not required.
Scientific rigor - strength in outcomes research methodology, including study design and analysis.
History of peer-reviewed publications.
Knowledge of market access environment and HTA process in the key markets would be a plus, but is not required.
Oncology experience is not required.
